Histoire croisée as a perspective for non-formal education – a methodological handbook

Histoire Croisée (Entangled History) is a training for developing methods in the non-formal historical education for multipliers from Germany, Poland and Ukraine

organised by Kreisau-Initiative e. V.

The project’s outcome is an online handbook containing the selected methods that the participants have developed and edited during the training. It shows how Polish-German and German-Greek history can be analysed from an entangled historical approach. In its second edition the handbook was completed with new methods of Holocaust Education by multipliers of youth work from Germany, Poland and Ukraine.

Furthermore these methods can be applied to different contexts (cultural, religious, national, social etc.).
